Exercising our creativity—in big or small ways—is exhilarating. It reaches its fullness when we co-create with Father God, when we partner with Jesus, when we dance in step with the Holy Spirit. Syncing our talents with God’s energy brings us to new heights of craftsmanship and joy. [See Exodus 28:2&3]
This synergy delights not only us, but God as well.
A good parent enjoys making mud pies and coloring with crayons alongside a toddler. That same parent relishes the chance to cook a gourmet dish and paint a backdrop with a teenager. And further appreciates collaborating on a holiday menu and building a shed with their adult son or daughter. Would Father God not also be happy to come alongside us?

It could be landscaping.
It could be teaching.
It could be planning roads or cities or parks.
It could be sewing wedding dresses.

It could be training service dogs.

Have you consulted Jesus in your work? Do you seek the filling of the Holy Spirit for your endeavors? What does Father God contribute to your efforts?
Whether we actively seek God’s involvement or not, our talents and skills exist as reflections of Him, our abilities and opportunities remain gifts from Him, and our achievements and productions come as a result of His grace. How much better to include Jesus in our attempts!
In what areas of your life do you walk in step with the Holy Spirit? In what other areas would you like to?
