When we create, we reflect our Creator. What sort of sub-creator are you?
Whether big or small, we all derive pleasure from making something—a stack of blocks, a crayon picture or a mud pie, when we are small, or wood and tile artwork, a quilt or a homemade pizza pie when we are older.
No matter what we design, most of us delight in the beauty of our work, even if it is not appreciated or noticed by others. Often during creation, God paused, noted what He had made and enjoyed it, seeing that it was good.
How often do you pause and enjoy the beauty of your creations?
Take time each day to enjoy the beauty in something you have made.
